SpongeBob HeroPants is an action game for the Nintendo 3DS based on the SpongeBob SquarePants series. The game features 6 playable characters with a plot based on the events of the movie The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
Gameplay[]
All characters have a simple attack and can use a "Burger Blaster" for a long range attack. A meter will constantly fill up which will allow for the selected character to enter Superhero Mode, which will allow a special attack to replace the Burger Blaster until the meter empties.
Plot[]
The game starts after the events of the movie with SpongeBob going to work at the Krusty Krab. When he gets to work, he realizing this are not normal with random things chasing around Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Plankton. Bubbles the Talking Dolphin enters the scene from his space triangle to give the gang their powers to figure who is using the last pages of the magic book and save Bikini Bottom.

The game was announced on October 18, 2014. A trailer for the game was released on January 6, 2015.
Reception[]
This game is considered the worst SpongeBob video game, along with SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge.
