Snake's Revenge is a stealth action game developed by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in North America in April 1990 (under the Ultra Games label) and in Europe on March 26, 1992 (under the Konami label). It was a sequel to Metal Gear made without Hideo Kojima's knowledge to which he made a true sequel on the MSX. It would eventually be rereleased as part of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, marking the first time in the series where a non-canon game was rereleased (not counting ports for the NES version of Metal Gear).
