Interestingly, in 2014, Game Freak had an event where a musician performed a reggae mix of Slowpoke saying its name in Japanese along with some lyrics. It turned into a viral video. On January 1, Nintendo released a Slowpoke theme. It has the instrumental version of the song playing in the background.
