Shrek SuperSlam is a 3D fighter video game released for the GBA, GameCube, and DS consoles in October/November 2005. The game brings together all the characters from the Shrek universe along with its environments, adapting them into an all-out brawler reminiscent of the Super Smash Bros. gameplay.
Gameplay[]
There are three playable modes featured in the game, including a multiplayer option. They consist of the classic Melee, King of the Hill, and Slammageddon. The game features a cast of over 20 characters from the Shrek franchise, and 16 different battle arenas mostly inspired by the environments of the Shrek movies.[1]
In the Melee mode, characters battle each other - every attack causes the 'Slam' bar to fill up, and once it does a special Slam attack is unleashed. In 'King of the Hill', a skirmish takes place upon a hill where multiple fighters try to knock each other off; and lastly the 'Slammageddon' mode is an even more spiced up variation of the melee, with each attack counted as a Slam.
