Shizuka Ito (born December 5, 1980) is a Japanese voice actress who had diversed roles in anime and video games who is affiliated with Ken Production. In Nintendo, Ito is best known for Female Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Melissa Bergman in Metroid: Other M and Bianca in Pokémon the Series: Black and White.
Outside Nintendo, Ito is most notable for Hilda in Beelzebub, Hinagiku Katsura in Hayate the Combat Butler, Akeno Himejima in High School DxD, and Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon Crystal. She won a "Best Actress in Supporting Roles" award at the 10th Seiyuu Awards.
Biography[]
Ito and fellow voice actress Hitomi Nabatame formed a voice acting unit called "Hitomi Nabatame and Shizuka Ito". Together they are known by the name Hitoshizuku, which is Japanese for "a single droplet". In 2012, she announced that she had gotten married. On April 30, 2020, Ito announced that she had gotten divorced.[1]
