Shiver Entertainment is a developer based in Miami, Florida. They are most known for porting titles, primarily to the Nintendo Switch. They were formerly a subsidiary of Saber Interactive within the Embracer Group. All of the games ported by Shiver, so far, are from Warner Bros. Games.
In 2024, Nintendo has fully acquired Shiver Entertainment, but operations will remain unchanged.[1]
History[]
Shiver Entertainment was founded in 2013 and was known for codevelopment and porting. They were acquired by Saber Interactive under the Embracer Group in December 2021.
During the Embracer reconsolidation plan, Embracer Group sold Saber Interactive in March 2024 but, retained Shiver Entertainment. They would then sell the studio to Nintendo, who acquired the studio in May 2024.
