Shinichi Ikematsu is a planner for Nintendo EPD. He got his start at Nintendo around 1996 working on the dungeons in The Legend of Zelda series; specifically, for Ocarina of Time he was in charge of the Fire Temple, Water Temple, Shadow Temple and the Bottom of the Well,[1] while for Majora's Mask he handled the Woodfall Temple, Great Bay Temple, Stone Tower Temple and some other designs.[2]
Later on, Ikematsu was in charge of planning for Wind Waker, director of Super Mario 64 DS, and planning sub-director of Twilight Princess. He has also worked on planning for various other titles on the Zelda, Mario Kart and Splatoon series.
