Masaharu Maeda, known by the stage name Shigeru Chiba (born February 4, 1954), is a Japanese actor and voice actor from Kikuchi, Kumamoto. He is affiliated with the talent management firm 81 Produce. Chiba is best known for Nintendo are Hyness in Kirby Star Allies, Azurda in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Gray in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. He was also the voice acting mentor to Megumi Hayashibara.

His notable roles outside Nintendo are Yoshihiro Kira from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the narrator of Fist of the North Star, Megane in Urusei Yatsura, Rei Ichidō in High School! Kimengumi, Kazuma Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho, Pilaf in Dragon Ball, Raditz and Garlic Jr. in Dragon Ball Z, Buggy the Clown in One Piece, Kefka Palazzo in Dissidia: Final Fantasy, and Kōichi Todome in Kerberos saga.
