Shantae and the Seven Sirens is a game by WayForward Technologies and is the fifth installment of Shantae series. It was released for the Nintendo Switch in Spring 2020.
Gameplay[]
Gameplay-wise, Shantae and the Seven Sirens seems to take elements of Metroidvania-style platforming similar to the first three Shantae games while still using the redesign style from Shantae: Half Genie Hero.
Development[]
Shantae and the Seven Sirens was first announced under the original title of Shantae 5 in March 2019, but was changed to the official title Seven Sirens on August 14th 2019. The Switch version was released in 2020 following all the episodes release on Apple Arcade
