Senran Kagura Burst (Senran Kagura Burst: Guren no Shoujotachi in Japan) is a beat 'em up for the Nintendo 3DS. It is an expanded version of Senran Kagura: Shoujotachi no Shinei. It was eShop only in North America, but got retail releases in Japan and Europe. It is known for its perverted nature, with the all girls cast losing their clothes after taking damage. It has a sequel in Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson.
Gameplay
The player chooses one of the 10 playable girls; the 5 original girls of Hanzo Academy (Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Yagyuu and Hibari) and the 5 girls of the Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy (Homura, Yomi, Hikage, Mirai and Haruka) and plays through the game's story, defeating waves of ninjas using various ninja techniques and summons.
Reception
The game was received averagely, receiving a 62 from MetaCritic and a 65.56% from GameRankings. Many critics criticized the overt sexual nature of the games.
