One day, Selkie is surrounded by a group of bandits who were trying to kill her, but unlike her, Kaden becomes aware of the situation and rescues her soon after. Selkie then apologizes, not realizing how much in a dangerous situation she was in.

Selkie is a playful, energetic, and courageous Kitsune who prefers to have fun without care for potential dangers, but she always has habit for reimbursing a favors done for her. Her birthday is October 20.

Selkie are mythological water spirits that can remove their seal pelt to take on human form and walk on land, similar to the shapeshifting nature of her base class. The name was probably chosen due to its resemblance to the word "silky".
Kinu (絹) means "silk" in Japanese, and is also the name of a Japanese light cruiser.
