Sega Genesis - Nintendo Switch Online, known in Japan as Mega Drive - Nintendo Switch Online is a Nintendo Switch Online application, exclusively for Expansion Pack subscribers where games from the Sega Genesis library are playable at no additional cost. Unlike other services, the Sega Genesis app is from a third-party console. Like the Wii Virtual Console, the emulator is primarily developed by M2. This is the first application on the NSO service to feature a non-Nintendo console.
Upon launch, 15 games were made available.

As with other services, the games are presented in high quality and enables local and online multiplayer (up to 2 players). The Rewind feature is also supported.
