Scarborough Fair is a set of four guns named Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme that are the signature weapons of Bayonetta in the first game. They serves as the base weapons in the first game and the one used by the Umbra Witch in the cutscenes. The weapon is exclusive to Bayonetta and Jeanne's version of the weapon is All 4 One.

In game description

"Crafted by the famed demon-smith Rodin, these four guns have been crowned with the names Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. Pushing Bayonetta's magic to its limits, these guns' rate of fire and stopping power are incredible."

How to Obtain


Scarborough Fair is obtained automatically after completing the Prologue for the first time and remplace the Handguns as the base weapon. Of course, the Handguns can still be used once unlocked later in the game.

Bayonetta 2

Bayonetta can acquire Scarborough Fair by beating the game on 2nd Climax Difficulty and purchasing the Super Mirror, which contain the set amongs other things.

Super Smash Bros. series

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U

The set appears when the Bayonetta is in her Bayonetta costume. The visual effects are also changed to the ones used in the game when Bayonetta choose to uses them.


  • The set name and the name of the guns get their name from the traditional British ballad, Scarborough Fair.
  • The Umbran symbol can be found in the Scarborough Fair if two of guns are combined on top of each other.
