Satoru Higashiyama (whose name can be changed by the player) is the main character of Kousoku Card Battle: Card Hero. He is an eighth grader who attends Kadohiro Junior High School. After his friend Haruka invited him, Satoru became a card hero. He also appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a Spirit.

Satoru appears as a novice primary Spirit with three support slots. His Spirit battle is Shulk in Pokémon Stadium 2, with Mewtwo, Ridley, and Bowser appearing as reinforcements. However, only Shulk needs to be defeated. The opponent's melee weapons also have increased power.
