Ryme City is the main setting of the game Detective Pikachu, as well as the movie of the same name. It is known for its annual Pokémon Carnival, depicted in both the game and film.
Geography[]
Ryme City has a port in the southwestern part of the city, as well as a ferry to Cappucci Island. Litwick Cave, a tourist spot popular with couples, is also locaed in the city.
Ryme City is also known to have a college, Ryme University, a park, Tahnti Park, and a train system.

TV station GNN is based out of Ryme City. The city is also known for its annual Pokémon Carnival.
In the movie, Ryme City was founded by Howard Clifford, who wanted it to be a utopia for both humans and Pokémon. As such, Pokémon battles and Poké Balls are prohibited.
