The Royal Caterpile is an enemy in Xenoblade Chronicles that is a member of the Caterpile family. They can be found at level 74 in the Windy Cave on Bionis' Leg. They are the strongest Caterpile in the game and the only enemy able to drop Caterpile Silk which is needed for the reconstruction of Colony 6 and the "Replica Monado 1" quest.
