Roy is one of the two main protagonists of Pokémon Horizons: The Series. He owns a mysterious ancient Poké Ball that was given to him by his grandfather. He is a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers. His Pokémon are Crocalor and Kilowattrel.

- Roy was originally designed by Ken Sugimori before being adapted for the anime by the series' character designers.
- Roy has a stylized Unown R on his shirt, which directly alludes to his name.
