Rover is a character found in the Animal Crossing series.

Appearances[]

Animal Crossing series[]

In Animal Crossing for the GameCube, Rover would be one of the first characters of the game, and the first that you talked to (excluding K.K. Slider before the game actually started). He could be found in the train leading to the town, and would ask you questions that would determine your gender, your appearance, the time, and the name of your character. He re-appears on train rides to and from other player's villages.

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, Rover played a very minor role as a character would appear in The Roost every day from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.

In the Wii video game Animal Crossing: City Folk, Rover will be there to greet you every time. He helps you merge your items from Animal Crossing: Wild World over to City Folk's catalog. He also determines your gender, appearance, name and time again on the Bus into the village.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Rover rides with you on the train again like in the original. In addition to the typical roles he provides, he also helps you decide the look of your town.

Super Smash Bros. series[]

Rover will randomly appear in the background of the Smashville stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Artwork of Rover from Wild World appears that can be placed on any character's trophy, thus increasing their slash attack by ten.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U[]

Games are only listed in the Wii U version.

This kitty is very outgoing, always looking to meet and learn about new people. He'll ask you all sorts of questions the first time you meet. Hopefully, you don't respond with random nonsense, since you'll be stuck with your answers. Who wants to live in a town called "AAAAAAA," anyway?
