The Rock Mushroom is a power-up from Super Mario Galaxy 2 that turns Mario into Rock Mario.
Abilities[]
The Rock Mushroom grants Mario the ability to roll up in a rocky ball and smash through enemies, rock spires, boulders, fences and snowy creations. When activated in a snow-like stage, Mario will gradually pick up enough snow to resemble a snow ball. The suit is used in a variety of stages to knock down walls, defeat a large amount of enemies (including ones that resemble bowling pins), and go through an intense obstacle course.
Locations[]
Mario first comes across the power-up in the Boulder Bowl Galaxy. It is also found in the Freezy Flake Galaxy and Melty Monster Galaxy.
Trivia[]
- This power-up is similar to the Gorons from the The Legend of Zelda series.
