Rock Band is a music video game part of the Rock Band series. It was released for the Wii by EA in 2008. It is the most expensive video game for the console, though it does come included with three accessories - a microphone, a guitar, and a drums set. The guitar can be used for both bass and lead. The name of the game is based after the fact that players can create their own virtual band by using all of the instruments. A total of four people can play at once, each one performing on a different instrument (excluding the two who'll play the guitar). It was originally released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2, and the Wii version is based on the PS2 version.
