Richter Belmont is one of the protagonists of the Castlevania series as one of the descendants of Simon Belmont. He made his debut in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.
Appearance
History
Richter first appeared in Rondo of Blood (and Castlevania: Dracula X as an alternate retelling). He has to fight Dracula who has just been resurrected. Along the way, he saves his girlfriend, Annette, and the villagers, Maria Renard, Tera and Iris.
He appears as a secret boss in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. He only is a memory of the Vampire Killer but, when he is defeated, the whip is stronger. He is also a playable character in the Alternate mode.
Super Smash Bros. series
Richter first appears in the series as an Echo Fighter for Simon Belmont in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He has a more direct fighting style but, seems to be not able to control his whips.
