Resident Evil is a survival horror game released for the Nintendo GameCube. The game is a remake of the original entry in the Resident Evil series. It was later rereleased on the Wii as Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil. A HD remaster for the Switch was released in May 2019 with a retail bundle with Resident Evil Zero as Resident Evil Origins Collection.
