This Rainbow Road has many boost pads and railings. There is many places to drift in addition. This was the first Rainbow Road in the Mario Kart series to use loop-de-loops. If you get hit by a Spiny Shell while traveling on the loops, the time that you flip and hit the ground will cause you to fall down, forcing Lakitu to pick you up. Bloopers are particularly useless here, due to the fact of many boost pads.
This course was the beta version of the Rainbow Road for Mario Kart 64.
