Puyo Puyo Champions is the first new Puyo Puyo game for the Nintendo Switch. It was initially released as a downloadable title in 2018, but later got a retail release in Japan. Like the Japanese title suggests, the game was designed for competitive play in mind and as such, there are robust multiplayer options, but very little single player content.
