The Propeller Mushroom is a new Mario item that made its first appearance in the Wii video game, New Super Mario Bros. Wii. When the player acquires one, they will get a propeller suit and a helmet with a propeller on it. By shaking the Wii Remote, that player will be able to make the player jump even higher, before they lightly falls to the ground. The player will be able to move their character around while he's falling to the ground as well. It also serves as a third power up for the character.
