Pokémon UNITE is a free-to-play game for the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. It was first announced at a Pokémon Presents presentation on June 24, 2020. It is a multiplayer co-op strategy game featuring Pokémon.
Gameplay[]
Similar to the other multiplayer action strategy games, the player controls one Pokémon in a match of teams of 5 vs. 5 with the goal of scoring the most points in the opposing team's zones. Players score by depositing points earned from defeating Pokémon. The players start the match at level 1 with a basic moveset, but by defeating wild Pokémon, they level up. Leveling up increases stats as well as letting the Pokémon evolve and learn new moves. The player can choose between options to build up a set of moves for a specific playstyle. Eventually, the moves can be upgraded to Unite moves which are special powerful attacks original to this game
