Pokémon Stadium is a video game for the Nintendo 64 released in 1999 and was created and published by Nintendo. While it is the first game in the series for most people, it is infact the second game in the series, and is the sequel to a Japan-only game entitled Pocket Monsters Stadium. Because of this, Pokémon Stadium is known as Pocket Monsters Stadium 2 in Japan.

- Use the power of the Transfer Pak and the N64 to play the Pokémon Game Boy game on your television!
There are other ways to play the game other than battling. You can play nine different minigames on Pokémon Stadium.
