Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are upcoming role-playing games for the Nintendo Switch as the first installments of the ninth generation of Pokémon games. The games were first revealed in a Pokémon Presents presentation on February 27, 2022.
Gameplay
Scarlet and Violet are set to have open worlds which include urban areas and open wilderness without borders between the two. The games introduce three new Starter Pokémon: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly; and two new Legendary Pokémon: Koraidon and Miraidon.
In a franchise first, 4-player co-op multiplayer will be included.[1]
Music
Toby Fox has confirmed that he is composing a few tracks for the game.[2]
