Pokémon Puzzle Challenge <sup>(JPJapanese: ポケモンでパネポン

Romaji: Pokemon de Panepon

Meaning: Panel in Pokemon)</sup> is a spin-off puzzle game for the Game Boy Color. Its gameplay is similar to Pokémon Puzzle League for the Nintendo 64. In Challenge Mode, your starting Pokémon are Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. You battle the Johto gyms by beating them at puzzle games, and you can obtain other Pokémon, such as Marill and Pichu. Sometimes you can hatch eggs for even more Pokémon. You may also fight a friend by using the multiplayer modes.

• Cyndaquil - Cyndaquil is one of the three starter Pokémon.
• Chikorita - Chikorita is one of the three starter Pokémon.
• Totodile - Totodile is one of the three starter Pokémon.
• Pikachu - Can be acquired by defeating the Gentleman after he challenges the player.
• Togepi - Can be acquired by defeating the Poké Fan after he challenges the player.
• Marill - Can be acquired by defeating the Swimmer after he challenges the player.
• Pichu - Can be acquired by defeating another Poké Fan after he challenges the player.
• Bellossom - Can be acquired by defeating the Lass after she challenges the player.
• Sentret - Can be acquired by defeating the Beauty after she challenges the player.
• Magby - Can be acquired by hatching the Fire Egg.
• Elekid - Can be acquired by hatching the Lightning Egg.
• Igglybuff - Can be acquired by hatching the Normal Circle Egg.
• Cleffa - Can be acquired by hatching the Normal Star Egg.

Jigglypuff appears as a supporting character. She stops time when some type of special move is used (2 in a row, 4 blocks lined up, etc.)
