A Poké Ball in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
A Poké Ball is a device used primarily in the Pokémon series of video games. It is a round, red and white ball that is used to capture and contain Pokémon.
There are many alterations of the Poké Ball. In many cases, as the player proceeds through the game, he/she loses the need for normal Poké Balls, replacing them with other, more effective Poké Balls, such as the Great Ball or Ultra Ball, as Poké Balls will quickly become in-effective items.
Super Smash Bros.
The Poké Ball appears in all of the Super Smash Bros. games, from which they become a projectile item that upon impact of a hard surface, releases a Pokémon at random. They have been confirmed in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl, even making an appearance with Pokémon Trainer as he tosses out his Pokémon to fight.
