Nintendo

Pocket Monsters Stadium(JP) is a video game released exclusively in Japan, in 1998 for the Nintendo 64. In this version, there are only 42 Pokémon instead of all 151 first generation Pokémon. This game was originally going to be for the 64DD, but due to the system's failure, it was only released for the Nintendo 64.

A sequel was released the following year, in Japan as Pokémon Stadium, on April 30, 1999. This was eventually released in early 2000 outside Japan as Pokémon Stadium.
