Template:PKMN4 Pinsir is one of Template:PKMNcount types of Pokémon species. Their species is the 127th type of Pokémon in the National Pokédex. They were introduced in the Game Boy video games, Pokémon Red and Blue. Their name is a portmanteau of the words pincer and the Korios which is the greek word for bug.
As their name suggests, they look much like a stag bettle. The korios part of the name refers to that they are Bug type.
Trainers
Other than you being able to train one yourself, Bugsy, one of the gym leaders, also uses one in a rematch in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Bugsy uses other bug pokemon as well as Pinsir.
