Pikmin 1+2 is a bundled Nintendo Switch port of Nintendo GameCube games Pikmin and Pikmin 2.

It was initially released on June 21, 2023 on Nintendo eShop, and was released physically on September 22 later that year.

Differences from the originals[]

The primary difference in the Switch version is the improved resolution and visuals, as well as revamped controls. The game is now widescreen so the text has been stretched from the original. The right stick is now camera controls primarily with the ability to hold the L button to perform the leading controls of the original games. There is gyro controls as an option for aiming the reticle while whistling or throwing Pikmin by holding the respective button. Most licensed products featured in Pikmin 2 have been replaced with generic versions.

Release[]

Following the Nintendo Direct announcement on June 21, 2023, the games have been immediately released the same day. The digital versions of the games can be purchased at a discounted price in a bundle.

The physical version, combining the two games, will be released on September 22, 2023.
