Pidgey(JP) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon that made its first appearance in the first generation games Red and Blue. It evolves in the Pidgeotto starting at level 18.

Pokémon Ruby Pidgey has an extremely sharp sense of direction. It is capable of unerringly returning home to its nest, however far it may be removed from its familiar surroundings.
