Picross DS is a Nintendo DS video game released in 2007. As its name implies it is part of Nintendo's wide variety of Picross titles, most of which were released exclusively in Japan. Mario's Picross was released elsewhere, though didn't fare as well as it did in Japan. The game requires the player to solve a variety of similar puzzles to reveal an image.

- After completing all the normal mode puzzles, you will unlock 15 puzzles based on various NES classics.
- Similarly, completing all free mode puzzles unlocks 15 puzzles with a Nintendo console theme.
- The hanglider in Level 4 looks a bit like the Balloon Fighter from Balloon Fight.
