Phoenix Wright is a protagonist character from the Ace Attorney series. He has held prominent roles in all six of the mainline games and cameoed in the series' side games as well.
Appearance[]
In most entries, Wright wears a blue business suit with a red tie. He also has slick black spiky hair. He always wears his attorney's badge on his jacket.
His appearance is considerably scruffier in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. Wright wears a blue beanie, a gray hoodie, black pants and sandals. He also wears a pendant which carries a picture of his daughter Trucy in it.
Appearances[]
Phoenix Wright is the protagonist and main controllable character of the first three games.
In Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, he acts as a defendant in the first case and a mentor for the rest of the game, giving the player hints on what to do next. He also establishes the Jurist system.
In Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, he is the defense attorney of the first case, the 4th and 5th cases, and the DLC case )which precedes all the cases in this game).
In Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice, Wright shares the spotlight with Apollo Justice for cases argued in court.
In Pofessor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, he mainly handles the court cases but is sometimes involved in puzzles.
He was supposed to appear in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, but was dropped due to his main attack, Objection, being radically different in English due to the different characters in the word.
Personality[]
In Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Wright is a lucky, smart character. He's great at noticing clues and knows just when he needs to present something.
The last case of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice for All forces Wright to reconsider his habit of placing blind faith in his clients, developing him into a more discerning lawyer.
In Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations' first case, Phoenix is a lovestruck college student who is willing to do anything for his girlfriend.
In Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Wright has been disbarred and has also adopted a daughter in the intervening years between this game and Trials and Tribulations. He tests Apollo and takes him under his indirect wing, steering Apollo in the right direction (albeit in a very sly manner).
In Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice, he somewhat returns to his old self, though more experienced and reasonable than his first years. He is still reliant on bluffing to get his way through court.
