Ol' Grandsappy, later called Sweet Sap Loggins when he is given the Soul Seed, is a character who appears in Paper Mario: The Origami King. The character makes his home in the Whispering Woods. His appearance is a tree stump with a face. His body is brown and his moustache and eyebrows are tan, making him appear elderly.

Paper Mario and Olivia encounter Ol' Grandsappy by chance by sitting on him. The Sap Sisters explain that Ol' Grandsappy is sick because some Mushroom People chopped him down. Paper Mario then has to find the Soul Seed to revive the old tree, but while he is out getting the seed, he finds Ol' Grandsappy eaten by Paper Macho Goombas. Paper Mario uses some of his confetti to bring him back to life and feeds him the Soul Seed, causing Ol' Grandsappy to sing his theme song, Happy & Sappy, and then grow into a huge tree called Sweet Sap Loggins. He then grants Paper Mario the way out. In the end, he, as Sweet Sap Loggins, is decorated by Mushroom People with flower wreathes.
