The Official Nintendo Magazine (officially abbreviated as ONM) was the UK and Australia's Official Nintendo magazine which covered Wii and Nintendo DS games. The first issue was released on 16 February 2006 in the UK and 15 December 2008 in Australia. Publication was originally owned by EMAP before the rights were sold to Future Publishing in 2006. The final issue was published in December 2013 in Australia and 14 October 2014 in the UK.

History

The magazine was originally published by EMAP under the name Nintendo Magazine System which covered the NES, SNES and Game Boy consoles, and was later renamed to Nintendo Magazine, Nintendo Official Magazine then, briefly, Nintendo Official Magazine UK. The rights were then sold to its current publisher, Future Publishing where it was renamed to its current name and its numbering was reset. The magazine also recieved a new set of staff.

In Issue 31 of the Official Nintendo Magazine (released Friday 6 June 2008), the was redesigned to give it a more mature and tidier look.

The magazine was later released in Australia on the 15 December 2008 and is the first official Nintendo magazine in Australian and New Zealand since 2000.
