Normal-type Pokémon in the anime

Normal-type Pokémon in the anime

Normal type is one of the eighteen Pokémon types. They tend to be based on regular animals or are otherwise unspecialized towards any other type, with Normal being the default Pokémon type. Normal Pokémon tend to be highly adaptable with some, such as Meowth, Herdier, Glameow, Furfrou, Tauros, Miltank, Wooloo and Lechonk having lived alongside humans since ancient times as pets or livestock while others, such as Rattata, Patrat, Pidgey and Pidove routinely live in and around human cities. One of the most famous Normal types, Eevee possesses an irregular genetic code which allows it to adapt by evolving into different types depending on where it lives.

Normal-type moves are not super-effective against any Pokémon, however, they make up for this by only possessing one weakness, against Fighting-type moves and they are even immune to the Ghost type.
