No Sleep for Kaname Date — From AI: The Somnium Files is a spinoff and 3rd entry of the AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES series, serving as a direct sequel to AI: The Somnium Files and is potentially a "midquel" between both prior entries. The game is written and directed by Kazuya Yamada, with both roles supervised by Kotaro Uchikoshi, and it is developed by Spike Chunsoft. The game is set very soon after the events of the original game —and heavily implied to be prior to its first sequel, AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative— and will follow Kaname Date as he tries to rescue Iris Sagan, who has been kidnapped and entered into an escape game.
The game was first announced via a Nintendo Direct on March 27, 2025, four months prior to release.
