Nintendo Power V193 is the July 2005 issue of Nintendo Power. It was notably the first issue to feature a revamp to the magazine's appearance since Volume 152 over three years earlier, and marked a shift of focus from gaming strategies to news. It is also the first issue to feature the magazine's new logo that would be used for the remainder of its run.

Reviews[]

In this issue, the "Now Playing" column, now given the more generic title of "Reviews", was completely revamped to give each game an extensive reviewer commentary from one editor each (with an occasional shorter "counterpoint" review appearing on certain games), and also returned to the ten-point rating scale previously used from Volumes 100-139. This issue also marked the debut of the "12 Months' Reviews" archive, which listed the scores of all the games reviewed over the past year's worth of issues.
