Nintendo Entertainment Planning and Development Production Group 7 (formerly Nintendo SPD Production Group 1) is one of the eleven factions of Nintendo Entertainment Planning & Development. (previously Nintendo Software Planning & Development) It was headed by former Nintendo R&D1 veteran Yoshio Sakamoto and It is now headed by Katsuya Yamano, the group develops games within the Metroid, Famicom Detective Club, and formerly, the WarioWare, Tomodachi, and Rhythm series.
