Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 4 (formerly SDD Software Development Group) is a developer group with the Nintendo Entertainment Planning & Development Division. It was originally a group under Nintendo Software Planning & Development's Software Development & Design Department under the leadership of Shinya Takahashi, until Kouichi Kawamoto took over after he was promoted to general manager of SPD in 2013. They developed titles such as the Brain Age and Daigasso! Band Brothers series, and various Touch! Generations titles, along with developing the various built-in software in Nintendo platforms starting with the Nintendo DS.
With the EPD transition, several members of EAD2 and EAD5 were absorbed into the group.
