Nintendo EAD Software Group No. 5 was a development group under the Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development structure that was owned by Nintendo. Shinya Takahashi and Katsuya Eguchi are the heads of the group and the others, though the general manager and producer of this department is Tadashi Sugiyama. Their projects include every Wii Fit game developed, as well as co-developing Star Fox and other vehicle based games with other developers.
During the move to Nintendo EPD, much of this group was merged into Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 4 with Nintendo SDD under Kouichi Kawamoto.
