Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Classics (formally Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online) is an Expansion Pack-exclusive Nintendo Classics service for Nintendo Switch Online, featuring games from the Nintendo 64 system. It supports up to four players, locally and online. Players can press the "-" button to access the Suspend Menu. Unlike the other platforms, Rewind function is not supported on the original Switch. Its native resolution is 720p.[1]
At launch, 9 games were made available with other games are confirmed for future release.
In late 2023, a mature-rated version of the app launched including games rated "M" by the ESRB or "16+" by PEGI or "D+" by CERO.
For the Nintendo Switch 2, the application will be exclusively updated with customizable controls, rewind and improved performance. It should also feature rollback netcode like the other Nintendo Classics applications.

N64 Controller[]
A Nintendo Switch version of the Nintendo 64 controller was also materialized to coincide with the app's release. It maintains the same look and feel of the original, but with additional minature buttons including access to the "Home" menu, as well as wireless and charging capabilities. Additionally, the port on the back of the controller was filled, making it incompatible with the Nintendo 64 accessories. The rumble effects are built-in.
