  • 1990: Nintendo sues Lewis Galoob Toys for their Game Genie device for Game Boy.
  • 1993: Star Wing (better known as Star Fox) is released in Europe for the SNES.
  • 2005: Donkey Konga 2 is released in Europe.
  • 2008: Lego Indiana Jones is released in America for the Wii and Nintendo DS.

  • 1980: Game & Watch video game Flagman is released in America and Japan.
  • 2006: Magnetica is released in America for the Nintendo DS.

  • 2005: Pokémon Emerald is released on the Game Boy Advance in Europe. The mascot of the game was Rayquaza.

  • 2007: F-Zero X is released for the virtual console in Europe.
  • 2011: Qix is released for the virtual console in Japan.

  • 2008: Space Invaders Extreme is released in America for the Nintendo DS. It was released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series which occurred in 2008. The game became so popular both commercially and critically that Square Enix and Taito decided to create a sequel.

  • 1981: Game & Watch video game Parachute is released in America.
  • 1992: Treasure Co. Ltd, creators of some of the most classic games including Nintendo published titles Sin & Punishment, its sequel and Wario Word, among copious other titles such as Gunstar Heroes and Astro Boy: Omega Factor, are founded.
  • 1992: NES Open Tournament Golf is released in Europe for the NES.
  • 1997: Banjo Kazooie is revealed by Nintendo at E3 1997.
  • 2007: Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is released in America. Manhunt 2 is rated AO by the ESRB and Rockstar is forced to go in and delete some content.
  • 2008: Mario Super Sluggers is released in Japan for the Wii.

  • 2005: Former Nintnedo president Hiroshi Yamauchi leaves Nintendo after becoming a member of the board due to old age. He retained %10 of Nintendo's stock, and when the Wii and Nintendo DS became so successful he became the third richest man in Japan because of it at almost $8 billion.
  • 2007: Final Fantasy VI for the Game Boy Advance is released in Europe.
