So, here's the beef - Microsoft just announced to the world that Bungie (Halo series), essentially their most important sub-company for video games, is parting ways with them and will officially be an independent company, meaning they now can make games for Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. However, don't get your hopes up for a Halo Wii or DS, because Microsoft owns the series. Also, don't think that they've totally left the company either, because they have confirmed that Microsoft will still be their main place to go for making new video games.
