New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis is a Wii remake of the GameCube title Mario Power Tennis. The game was the first of many New Play Control! video games that enhance the GameCube experience with Wii remote capabilities. The game is played similarly to Wii Sports Tennis, in that you swing the Wii Remote to cause the character to swing in the game. Other than that, the game adds nothing new to the table that wasn't offered in the GameCube version of the title.

Boxart

All countries have the same boxart as their version of the game, though with a new frame that explains that it has been updated. Still, Nintendo made the cover so that it can be reversed and replaced by a more faithful recreation of the GameCube cover.
