Neo Bowser City, (called Koopa City in Europe), is the third track of the Star Cup in Mario Kart 7. In Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it is the first cup of the Bell Cup. It is DLC in Mario Kart 8.
Description & layout:
Neo Bowser City is a massive, rainy, metropolis built in the image of Bowser. There are several tunnels, barriers, skyscrapers. The stage starts out with a simple straightaway before going into a variety of winding roads and sharp turns without guard rail, and a section with puddles that will cause anyone who runs into them to spin out (3DS version only, Mario Kart 8 replaces this with a zero gravity section). Nearing the finish line, there is a gliding pad.
Shortcuts:
- Inside the first initial tunnel, there is an off road patch that requires a speed boost to utilize.
- During the turn near the gliding pad, there is another off road patch that can be boosted through.
- After using the gliding pad, there is a Koopa Clown Car that blows a wind draft upward, granting a lift to any who fly over it. In Mario Kart 8/Deluxe, the car is located further than its 3DS counterpart.
