NHL Hitz Pro is a sports game (focused on ice hockey) for the GameCube. It is licensed by the National Hockey League and its Player's Association. It also carries the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) license as well, allowing them to use the official Olympic jerseys.

The game was canceled in Europe.

Gameplay[]

The game has a 5-vs-5 feature in-game as opposed to the 3-vs-3 feature in the previous NHL Hitz games. There are a number of different game modes including Franchise. The crowd in the stands is rendered in 3D as well as the players. It also features an improved AI.

As in the real-world sport of hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team to win the game.

Teams[]

All the NHL teams from that year appear in the game.
